Friendship is Essential to the Soul...
A native of Chicago, IL, Jerome holds a bachelor's degree in Management and proudly serves as a Chicago police officer. Currently working in the department's Technology Center, he specializes in collecting and processing video and digital forensic evidence related to homicide investigations. Beyond his professional commitments, Jerome is a loving husband and devoted father to three beautiful children, one of whom is currently pursuing a college education.
Initiated into the mysteries of Omega through Nu Pi Chapter during the long fall of 2015, Jerome has been dedicated to the fraternity since emerging from those burning sands. He has held several key leadership positions, serving as Keeper of Records and Seal for two years, Vice Basileus for three years, and Basileus for two years.
At the district level, he was appointed by 38th Tenth District Representative, Sean T. Long, to the role of Chairman of History and Archives. In this capacity, he has traveled across the district to study and document the rich history of the Talented Tenth, sharing this knowledge with fellow members as well as faciliatating the district's Golden Bridge Builder initiative.
With a passion for fraternity-wide communication, he has contributed several articles to the Quemmunicator and recently published a prominent piece in the Oracle. Jerome is eager to continue his service to Omega Psi Phi, striving to uplift and support the fraternity’s mission and values.
